Elemeno Preschool was founded on a simple conviction: the earliest years deserve intention, care, and room to breathe. Located in the heart of Vancouver, our classroom is a space where children move between activities at their own pace, guided by educators who listen before they teach.

We do not rush development. Instead, we create conditions — rich materials, calm routines, attentive adults — where a child's natural drive to learn can unfold without pressure. The result is a community of young learners who are confident, kind, and genuinely engaged.

Toddlers

A gentle introduction to group life. Toddlers explore sensory materials, build language through song and story, and develop early independence in a warm, supervised setting.

Our Approach

Learning through
life, not drills

We draw from Montessori principles, Reggio Emilia philosophy, and contemporary child development research — but we adapt everything to the children in front of us. No two days are identical, and no two children follow the same path.

Our classrooms are prepared environments: every material has a purpose, every routine offers predictability, and every adult is trained to observe before intervening. The goal is not to fill a bucket but to light a fire — and protect it.
